As children, we learn to share. We learn to wait our turn and stand in line. As a younger sibling, I always had to share with my sister. I can even remember sharing Lego’s way back in kindergarten……..
Share Legos? hehehe not a chance in HELL!!!! Stay away from my Legos!

Dude…I want that!
This is such an awesome thing! I really want to make one, paint it matte white and display it in my home! Where can I get the plans for this awesome little project!?
As I was doing some research for my anthropology course last quarter, I came across this little gem. Apparently it’s an ad for some fund asking for a donation, but I perceived it initially as a definition for the search term simply because it was the thing that appeared at the top of the page, and it follows the color scheme of wikipedia. I had to share. Please don’t think of me as crude after this one ;).
Live Curious
The National Geographic channel have released new advertisements that challenge exploration, pioneering and questioning - all of which capture National Geographic’s spirit. Although this could be looked at from a brand identity point of view, there’s also a humble message behind the advertisement - to “Live Curious” hits close to home. In National Geographic’s words, ”Everything deserves a Why”.
Makes me sooo happy to be validated as a curious, questioning design student.

“That way, people can eat their potato chips and still get in shape.” You gotta work for that snack! Literally!
Sometimes, I really worry myself (and my employers and professors) by taking a lot of up front time to think and plan before producing anything that resembles usable work or evidence of time well spent. I can wake up one day and spend three hours trying to get myself into the right mindset to do work, then crank out a great deal of pretty good work in what feels like no time. Other days, I will spend the whole day prepping, and not get anything done. And finally, there are those days when I work and work and see no results and come up with absolutely nothing of value. I’m not only easily distracted, but I often seek out reasons to ignore my work. Do I have a problem? Those who know me well know that I have never once failed to produce what I promised, but they also know that it is like pulling teeth for me to bring myself to make it happen. I really don’t like fighting in general, so when I have to fight myself, it’s twice as bad. Any ideas? Suggestions? We all know it will get done, but I can just imagine how wonderful it would be if it were simpler…
